Stadium Porter - Game Day Employee 2022

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in facility preparation and clean up for Indians’ Home games and outside events
  • Sweep debris from stadium concourse, restrooms, suite level, picnic areas and other fan areas
  • Trash and recycling removal throughout all fan areas
  • Mop concourse as spills occur during event
  • Restock restroom supplies, as necessary
  • Answer fan questions and directing issues/complaints to proper Indians staff members
  • Should be able to answer fan questions in a friendly and polite manner
  • Have good knowledge of Victory Field

Minimum Qualifications:

Highly-motivated, energetic individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills to interact with fans.

 

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service, people and relationship skills
  • Ability to walk around for an entire 4-6 hour shift
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs
  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently in a team environment
  • Ability to work in diverse weather conditions, including cold, wind, rain and heat
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, days, weekends and holidays

 

Compensation:

$11.25 hourly; estimated 4-6 hours per shift.
