2026 Game Day Employee - Bat Boy

Status: Seasonal, part-time; Non-exempt

Position Summary
It is our goal to make our guests’ experiences at Victory Field as pleasant and as enjoyable as possible, this includes our players, staff, visiting teams and umpires. To achieve this, our employees need to be professional, courteous, pleasant, reliable, dependable and well groomed. Our employees should be willing to go above and beyond to help make our guests feel welcome and should always have a smile on their face.
Major Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing and stocking all equipment for each team's dugout including balls, bats, batting helmets, water coolers, cups, towels, and other equipment
- Assist with retrieving balls that exit the field during batting practice when needed
- Retrieve bats and distribute balls to the umpires during games
- Collect and remove all equipment from dugouts post-game
- Assist with cleaning the home clubhouse, equipment, and other player areas
- Duties may include helping load equipment after a homestand
Skills and Qualifications
- Must be 16 years old
- Must have reliable transportation
- Knowledge of baseball and the flow of the game
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, including cold, wind, rain and heat
- Ability to follow directions and work independently in a team environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
Compensation
$10.00 hourly; estimated 4-6 hours per shift
